What is moissanite?

Moissanite is a rare gemstone discovered in a meteor crater in 1893. Today, it's lab-grown and it outperforms diamond in brilliance and fire due to its higher refractive index, while ranking 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it the second hardest gemstone out there. It passes a diamond tester, comes with GRA certification, and costs a fraction of the price of a diamond.

Not a diamond simulant. Not cubic zirconia. A brighter gemstone entirely.
